Monarch of the glen is set in a farm it's based on the olden times. It's all about a young 16 year old girl named Amy. Amy is a young student she has an accent, and her outfits are very old fashioned. The girl volunteered to work at the village, but she has lied about her age.
The clip also shows a group of men, picking up tools. She is asked to go drive the truck but her body language and blocking show how uncertain she is about driving. She drives the truck, but hits into a car. The man she hits into is dressed in a suit very smart dressed but none of the clothes match, he looks like a headmaster.
Amy looks shaken after she hits the car into her headmaster. She shows through blocking how scared she is. The room where the man takes the headmaster is very old and it's made from oak panels. It's actually like an adult only type of room. They drink brandy which makes it an older scene.
Amy runs away, because of her behaviour it shows she's still a child Amy’s bedroom is very young. It's pink with teddy bears and magazines. This shows that the girl is very young minded and explains why she behaves like a child.
