The exam will be on analyising a 5 min clip of a british drama.
Part of the exam will be tested on the ability on analysing the following:
-Cinematography
-Editing
-Sound-
-Mise En Scene-The Setting,Location,Lighting,Costume,Make-Up,Props,Blocking,Body Language
Representations you'll be asked to analyse how the media language builds a representations of the following;
-Age(
-Genders(The differences between both genders)
-Ethnicity(show how different race behaviour)
-Sexuality(straight,Homosexual)
-Regional identity
-Ability/disability(How difference is shown with the disability person)
-Class/social status
Part B Audiences and Institutions
-You prepare a case study of two films.
It will be tested on your knowledge of the relationship between the people who produce distribute the film industry.
